"Some people are born great, others achieve greatness, a few have High School thrust upon them." -Randal Vaughn                               "Dude, I don't care what anyone says, you're WAY weirder than I am." - Kyle Zemming                               "I am NOT a human shield!" -Ash Trinton

Scott Baxter
(Kyle)

About Kyle:
Kyle Zemming is a 16 year old High School kid. Most of what he does is motivated by love for his friends, the desire to have more of a clue . . . about anything, really . . . and of course, the hapless quest for sex. His habits include caffeine, putting his foot in his mouth, and effortlessly embarrassing himself on a semi-regular basis. So as you can see, his life is that of a fairly typical 16 year old boy. He also more or less disdains the entire process of being a student. As far as Kyle is concerned, “classes” means “time away from friends,” and he merely tolerates this fact as best he can. Go Bulldogs.

About Scott:
It's my pleasure to work with No Permit Productions as Kyle in the series Bulldog Skin. As an actor, musician and artist, I've pursued a life outside the box, questioning the norm, and finding the alternate to common opinion; all while standing on the outskirts of popularity much like Kyle does at Baddington High. Kyle's quirky energy, relationship with the mundane and dissent amongst adults and peers are all traits I latched onto and am looking forward to portraying in this exciting series.

Amanda Robertson
(Ash)
About Ash:
Ash Trinton is a freckles-and-chapstick type of girl. Not a tomboy nor totally sexless, merely casual. She is self-aware enough to process most stress and emotions before they have a chance to pile up on her, and that can make her seem as though she flits carelessly through her days, but really she’s just practical to an uncanny degree. Her next biggest personality trait is openness. Ash will tell anyone about anything in her life with no thought of self-censorship. This occasionally gets her in trouble, but her close friends understand that Ash simply has no relationship with the concept of privacy and that’s all there is to it.

About Amanda:
I am very excited to be working on this project. As an actress I have been searching for something like Bulldog Skin to get my hands on for quite a while. The show portrays a lot of reality with people going through high school, such as myself. Ash is very unique, unlike a lot of stereotypical female leads in "high school shows". The most important thing to her is her friends, and that's where Ash and I definitely click. The writing is amazing. I love working with all of the cast and crew, and look foward to working with them all in the future.

Jens Magelssen
(Vaughn)

About Vaughn:
Randal Vaughn
may seem at first like a laid back skater/slacker... but he loves to be challenged. He is by far more academically inclined than Kyle, but he only enters full on nerd territory when it comes to science classes. Give Vaughn a Chemistry set and microscope and he is one happy nerd. His other big hobbies include downloading obscure music, skating, playing chess, and if he has an important address or event to remember, he’ll just whip out a sharpie marker and scribble the information on a pants leg. No big deal. The bond he has with his friends is based on shared goofiness. Oh, and Vaughn is gay.
About Jens:
I have been acting for several years, on both a student and professional level. Most of my acting training is in theatre technique, however the majority of my experience over the last two years has been in front of (and occasionally behind) the camera. I got involved with Bulldog Skin via a No Permit Productions casting call, and the most immediate thing that struck me (apart from the quality of the script) was the professionalism with which No Permit operates. This, in addition to the friendly atmosphere and the talent of my costars, keeps me involved with and excited about the project.

Galen Steffen
(Paul)

About Paul:
Paul Galati is, in short, a genius. No sarcasm intended here. He's probably rocket scientist material, so rather than nerdy smart like Vaughn, Paul is more like...slightly scary smart. His IQ is off the charts and he's even pretty good with social interaction, except where it involves a specific member of the opposite sex. His addiction to nicotine is a constant source of nagging from his sister Lilly, the achingly pretty sophmore that haunts Kyle's dreams.
About Galen:
There has always been something about the power of story telling which has intrigued me and inspired me. Film is the type of story telling which I have always loved the most and have always wished to contribute to. As an actor the character, Paul, is very fun to play. He is, for lack of a better word, a genius, but in some instances completely lacks any common sense. He over-analyzes most things, and that's something the character and I have in common. I had kind of a nutty high school experience and it's great fun to use those experiences for something constructive, to be able to let people see and connect to things we all share.
