The mission of Bulldog Skin is simple - to create a true-to-life series that's half send-up, half homage. You probably went to school with some of these people, or still do. Our ambition is to create it and keep it free of the network machinery that is the downfall of so many great ideas...no FCC "standards", no giant-advertiser demands, no corporate greed and no Hollywood bullshit - in short, to actually produce something worth your time: an engaging, comedic series that doesn't insult your intelligence.
In that spirit, we make you a promise: NO 'VERY SPECIAL' EPISODES. That's
one motto with this series. Some episodes will be total fluff, some may provoke
a thought or two, but we will never, ever, stoop so low as the dreaded "VERY
SPECIAL EPISODE". (a la LifeTime,etc.)

Some of the story elements are told via comments and bulletins sent out
by our cast on social networking websites like MySpace and FaceBook. As a friend
of a cast member, you get access to insider info, such as project news, clues
about where we are shooting episodes, our events and, for some lucky friends
in the Greater Seattle area, insider fan games, gatherings and parties with
the cast and crew.
3- Help spread the word.
Send your friends and family to this site, and the MySpace pages. Email
everyone you know to join the fan list and send friend requests on MySpace.
Remember, the more people we get on board, the more quickly we can produce the
episodes you want to see. This site sells Bulldog Skin
T-shirts, hats, bumper stickers and other cool stuff. Available
soon. Your purchase helps us fund episodes and helps get the word out, attracting
more people to the sites and the show. Imagine how cool you'll look. You'll
literally have friends that are producing a TV show. One of the first full-length comedy
series online without major network backing. How cool is that? You'll need to
practice answering the question: "What the hell is Bulldog Skin?"
We know this isn't the "normal" way to produce television. Everyone knows you need bazillions of network dollars, big-name actors with monolithic egos and a comprehensive suck-up strategy to get anywhere in TV. We disagree. We think success in entertainment should be about talent, hard work and a certain disregard for the rules. On our team, we only "suck up" to each other.
